The museum holds a minimum number of 40 individuals - but many fragments from mixed graves. it is unknown which are Christian and which pagan from Romano-British times onwards. Parts of the region remained Christain, linked to Welsh/Irish Celtic Church. The estimate is 5-25. 17 are from Romano-British hillforts and settlements.
How many of these human remains are well documented, with clear context of date and place of exhumation?:
33 have provenance, excavation/exhumation records and a rough date.

Yes.

Yes.
Does the museum have a disposal policy, and is it including HR with negligible potential in its discussions about disposal?:
Yes. Currently the museum is not 'disposing' of any of its collections. Their policies are available from the museum on request.
Are any of these remains currently on display and in what context?:
The museum currently has a Roman cremation on display in the Roman case in Hereford Museum in the section on religion and belief.

The museum has had neither negative or positive comments on their displays.
