This Policy is very disappointing. It fails to address the ethical concerns of the general population, never mind any pagan sensibilities, and clearly expects most, if not all, of the Human Remains within its collections to be used for research.

The vast majority of human remains held at the Science Museum form part of the Wellcome Trust collections.  As such the Science Museum liaises with them on all issues relating to human remains.  Their response may be found at the Wellcome Collection YLM page.
