There are 123 records on the Modes database, all are thought to be ancient British.

The majority are well documented. The others in store have simply a street name as reference, and were found by Victorian workmen.

Yes, the remains are mainly referred to by researchers and students.

Yes.

Iron Age bones and skulls are on display, connected with the exhibition on Worlebury Hillfort. Infant remains are on display linked with local Roman villas.

There have been no comments or complaints made.

Yes, the remains connected with Worlebury are considered iconic; this is the story of the massacre of local people either by another Iron Age tribe or Roman forces.
