Conferences on human remains are now and then held around Britain, and sometimes HAD delegates are able to attend, submitting reports for this website.  Following the link on the left hand menu here, you can find our reports.

If you have information about a relevant conference, please get in touch with us.  It is important that HAD keeps abreast of the currents of change, both within Pagan circles and within the academic and heritage community whose role it is to manage our ancestral remains.

HAD Events

HAD's own 2009 conference, The Care of Ancient Human Remains, was held in October 2009 in Leicester.  

HAD regrets to announce that the Symposium - 'After the Exhumation' has been postponed to 2012.  A revised date will be announced in due course.
