Smithsonian Removes Human Remains from Display
Museums Association 12 March, 2024: “Smithsonian moves towards ‘informed consent’ principle for human remains.”
HAD welcomes this announcement and finds it particularly positive that all human remains are to be removed from display, working with communities is encouraged and destructive analysis is to be banned. All moves that HAD has been advocating for some time.
