The MWM is conducting a review of all biological and organic matter in
its collections -including human remains – as part of its entire
collections management plan.
This is strategic work which will inform our accreditation status and is
complex – we will be in touch with you in due course when it is
complete.
The MWM is well known for its respectful treatment of human remains in
its collection as the interrment of Joan Wytte testifies.
